Motor generator Module
The REG-DCM device is a didactic servo kit accessory and consists of an additional motor/generator/sensors mounts a power box and complete interface.
This DC machine is a permanent magnet type and does not require external excitation. Adding to the servo kit allows the study of the speed control systems and position of a firm loop motor and also the characteristics of a loaded standard motor.
A quadrature optical sensor mounted on the rotation shaft makes it possible to measure the position and speed of rotation of the motor/generator assembly. This sensor has a fast analog conversion system for speed and position signals (for analog control applications).
The torque of the load is also controllable either by a potentiometer or by an external control system.
The REG-DCM has a four-quadrant DC/DC power converter (H-bridge) with its complete system of isolation, protection, sensor and pulse drop modulator. This system makes it possible to control the motor in two directions of rotation, and both modes of operation motor or generator of a digital (MLI) or analog handling.
